Professor Anna Marmodoro
Official Fellow in Philosophy, Corpus Christi College, Oxford

Anna Marmodoro

Professor Anna Marmodoro is an Official Fellow in Philosophy at University of Oxford, in Corpus Christi College. She specialises in contemporary metaphysics and in ancient philosophy. Recent publications include a monograph on Aristotle on Perceiving Objects (OUP 2014); a number of edited volumes among which includes The Metaphysics of Relations, OUP 2016, and The Metaphysics of Powers: Their Grounding and Their Manifestations, Routledge, 2010; and numerous articles and book chapters.  She directs two large-scale research projects in Oxford, one funded by a starting investigator award from the European Research Council investigating Power Structuralism in Ancient Ontologies; and the other funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation, investigating the Metaphysics of Entanglement


Professor Erasmus Mayr

Erasmus Mayr

Professor Erasmus Mayr holds the Chair for Practical Philosophy at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg. After studying philosophy and training as a lawyer in Munich, he spent some years in Oxford as a Junior Research Fellow at The Quenn's College Oxford and worked in the Research Project on the Metaphysics of Entanglement. After spells as Acting Chair ("Lehrstuhlvertretung") at the HU Berlin and in Erlangen, he is now permanent professor at Erlangen University. His research areas include philosophy of action, ethics, and philosophy of law. His publications include "Understanding Human Agency", OUP 2011.

Riccardo Chiaradonna

Riccardo Chiaradonna is Associate Professor of Ancient Philosophy at Roma Tre University. He is the author of several monographs on ancient philosophy in Italian and the co-editor of Universals in Ancient Philosophy (Edizioni della Normale, 2013) and Physics and Philosophy of Nature in Greek Neoplatonism (Brill, 2009).

Howard Robinson

Howard Robinson is University Professor in Philosophy at the Central European University in Budapest. He is the author of Perception (Routledge, 1994) and (with R. Tallis) The Pursuit of Mind (Carcanet, 1991) in addition to many articles and edited volumes on dualism, perception, and Aristotle.
